 13     Click Next.

The Include Instructions page appears.

14     If you want to include instructions to be executed by the Monitor, click to check the Include instructions check box and specify the instructions. (see instructions.)

 15     Click Next,

The First Log Upload Location window appears.

16     In the Upload Method drop down list:

a    Select Network Transfer if you want the Monitor to transfer logs directly to the Station.

This is recommended if the computer you want to monitor is on the same network with the Station computer.

b    Select FTP Location if you want the Monitor to upload logs to an FTP site.

·         Enter the full host name of the FTP host (e.g. myftphost.com or ftp.mysite.com) in the FTP Host field.

NOTE: Do not specify additional text in the FTP Host field such as ftp://myftphost.com or myftphost.com/home.

·         If you want the logs to be stored in a directory different from the default login directory, specify the directory in the Directory field.

·         Enter the login user name and password for the remote FTP site in the User name and Password fields.

c     Select Email(SMTP) if you want the Monitor to email logs to an email address.

·         Enter the SMTP (outgoing email) server, the Monitor will connect to, in the SMTP Server field.

·         Enter the account name (user ID) for the server in the User ID field.

·         Enter the password for the account in the Password field.

To specify a non-default POP3 port, click to check the checkbox on the right, then enter the port number.

For more information, see Email (SMTP) log upload method.

d    Select Local/Network Folder if you want the Monitor to save logs in a folder on the monitored computer or in a folder on the network.

NOTE: The Hotphrase is a word which when typed on the monitored computer causes a window, prompting you to receive log reports, to be displayed.

NOTE: Specifying a Hot Folder causes the transfer of log reports into the specified folder, when the Hotphrase is typed on the monitored computer, without any display.

24     You can set the logging interval by checking the Logging Interval checkbox and selecting the time interval from the drop down list.

25     You can set the upload interval by checking the Upload Interval checkbox and selecting the time interval from the drop down list.

 26     Click Next.

The Connection Options page appears.
