You can remotely deactivate a Monitor (or a collection of Monitors
associated with one configuration) by setting
the expire instruction with the current time and
date and updating the configuration.

Open
the e-Surveiller Station

Right
Click on the configuration for the Monitor you
want to deactivate.
A pop-up menu appears
(as shown below)

Click
Properties
on the pop-up menu
The monitor properties
window appears.

Click
on the Instructions
tab.
The property sheet for the Instructions
tab appears.

Select
Expire
from the Instruction drop down list.

Select
the current
time and date in the on
field.

Click
Add.
The instruction is
added to the Included
Instructions list.

Click
Update
to and follow the instructions to update the Monitor
with the new instructions.
NOTE: See Updating a Monitorfor more information.
The Monitor(s) will automatically deactivate immediately it
receives the updated configuration; by connecting
to the Station or polling other configuration
update locations.
