NOTICE:
Your e-Surveiller license permits you to use one station at a time. If
there is need for multiple stations to be used
simultaneously, you must purchase an additional
license.
In the most common multi-station setup, several stations monitor
computers on a home or office network (LAN); a
station computer is designated for remote viewing,
receiving and viewing log reports while other
stations are mainly used to watch the screens
of monitored computers, remotely.
To set up the arrangement described above:
- Install
the Monitor on all the networked computers you
want to monitor.
- The
monitors will automatically connect to the Station
computer.
- Open
the e-Surveiller Station (on the Station computer).
Click Settings from the View menu.
The
Settings window appears.
Note
the e-Surveiller port number on the Connection
tab.
- Install
e-Surveiller on other computers (stations) you
want to monitor from. Specify the port number
you noted, during the installation. Also enter
your e-Surveiller license key.
- If
you need to monitor any computer on your network
(from the other station computers), press F2
on the e-Surveiller Station. Enter the network
name of that computer and click connect.
- Once
connected, you can view the remote screen, retrieve
logs, etc.
NOTE: If you want to set up other multi-station arrangements,
