Setting the Station to poll for logs from specific folders

The e-Surveiller Station periodically polls its Monitors’ upload locations (Local/Network folder and FTP location) for logs, periodically.

Additionally, you can also include specific local or network folders for the station to poll for logs.

This may be useful if an upload location (such as an FTP site) resides on a folder on your network or if your email software can automatically move logs out of the inbox to a Windows® folder.

To include a folder:

    1     Open the e-Surveiller Station.

2     Select Settings from the View menu.

The Settings window appears.

3     Enter the full pathname of the folder in the Folder field or click Browse to select the folder.

    4     Click Add.

The folder is added to the list.

    5     Click OK.

The e-Surveiller Station will now include this folder when polling for logs.

NOTE: You can instruct e-Surveiller Station to check for new logs, immediately, by selecting Check for new logs from the Actions menu.
